A natural daughter was baptised out of necessity after birth to Sieur de Lasserre, surgeon (chirurgien) living in the house of Iriart in St. Etienne and Francoise de Barhenetche of the quartier of Iramehaca. The infant died about 15 minutes after being baptised.
