He received Rancho El Encino + $29,031.15 from his uncle, Gaston Oxarart's estate.
In 1888, he owned northeast corner of 1st & Spring St. known as the Post Office Block & Old Fellows Building.
He agreed to pay M.V. Biscailuz $60,000 to handle the estate of Gaston Oxarart for him.
He was in partnership with one John Hausen in 1896-1897 of wholesale butchers in killing & selling hogs, sheep & cattle. He also at this time was engaged in general farming, insurance and caring for proerty in Los Angeles County. They declared bankruptcy in 1897.
His property in 1897: some butchering equipment of company and inividually he owns 2 lots in Rosecrans Tract. He also has real estate in Basses Pyrenees, France and alos notes and mortgages there which are being held by one Michel Etcheverry of Aldude for collection.
