- He was a brother to Miguel, Michel, John (Jean Cadet), Dominque & Marianne.
He was an employee of his brother, Miguel Leonis as a herder in 1886.
He occupied some land in Los Angeles some 15-20 prior to 1886 but returned to France at that time. Since then he has had no possession of the property.
He was seriously sick with pleuro pneumonia in February 1888.
JP Goytino took care of him during his last illness 4/1/1887 to 3/6/1888.
All of his estate was left to Miguel Leonis & distributed as part of Miguel's estate. Squatters claim valued at $3000, 50 head of cattle & $2,000 in cash.
