Mother passed away on January 11, 2007 in the presence of her family. She was born, 8/14/16 in a house on Savannah St. in Boyle Heights to French immigrant parents, Paul Mesplou and Catherine Estournes. The family bought a farm on Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance in 1924 and Mom spent the rest of her life in the South Bay area. She graduated from Gardena High School, having lettered in all sports and receiving a Gregg Shorthand Achievement Award, in 1934. She married the love of her life, her classmate, Peter Radisich who predeceased her on 11/20/05, in 1937. Her children Claudine, Louis, Donald, Thomas and Steven as well as 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, remember Mom as a beautiful, quiet, gentle woman who lavished her children and husband with boundless love and affection. She was devoted to her home and family and gave them an appreciation for beauty, hard work, and respect for all people, and creatures of the earth. She loved her garden, feeding the birds and cooking for all friends and family. She was a member of La Societe Francaise de Bienfaisance Mutuelle. Some of her happiest years were spent as a volunteer and later as store manager for the American Cancer Society Thrift Shop in Inglewood.
